6. ​Ownership and Disposal of Items Designated for Removal

By requesting and authorizing Walden Logistics LLC (“Walden Logistics”) to remove, haul away, or dispose of any personal property, the customer represents and warrants that they are the lawful owner of the items or otherwise have the legal authority to authorize their removal and transfer of ownership.

Transfer of Ownership: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, upon Walden Logistics taking possession of items specifically designated and authorized by the customer for removal, disposal, or junk hauling, the customer voluntarily transfers all ownership rights, title, and interest in those items to Walden Logistics, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Disposition of Removed Items: Following the transfer of ownership, Walden Logistics retains the sole discretion to determine the disposition of the removed items. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Disposal at an appropriate waste management facility.

• Recycling or repurposing.

• Donation to charitable organizations or other recipients.

• Resale through private transactions, online marketplaces, auctions, or other channels.

• Retention for company or personal use.

• Any other lawful method of disposition.

No Compensation or Right of Reclamation: Unless expressly agreed upon in writing, the customer acknowledges that they are not entitled to compensation, proceeds, or profits resulting from the resale, donation, recycling, or reuse of removed items. Following a valid transfer of ownership, the customer relinquishes the right to reclaim those items.

Customer Authorization: The customer is responsible for ensuring that all items designated for removal are intended to be relinquished and that no personal belongings, important documents, valuables, or other items they wish to retain are included.

Excluded Property: This provision does not apply to items transported as part of a moving service, items placed into storage, or property not expressly authorized for removal. Walden Logistics does not acquire ownership of items through accidental collection or unauthorized removal.

Legal Compliance: All transfers of ownership and subsequent disposition of property remain subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws, including requirements governing hazardous materials, regulated waste, and property belonging to third parties.

7. Safety and Service Limitations

We prioritize the safety of customers, employees, and property.

Services may be delayed, rescheduled, or modified due to unsafe conditions, severe weather, inaccessible locations, or other circumstances that materially affect safe performance, subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
